Why do we recommend our
BactoTerra® START product?
- Bactoterra Start® is a soil fertilizer containing microbiological components.
- It contains naturally fermented nitrogen-fixing, nutrient-mobilizing and cellulose-degrading bacteria, as well as spores or other specialized forms of naturally occurring yeasts.
- It is compatible with all conventional crop protection and fertilizer products that have no declared bactericidal activity against the microorganisms contained in the product.
- It positively influences soil biological processes, promotes the decomposition of organic matter, enhances the mineralization of inorganic nutrients, supports humus formation, improves crop yield and quality, and reduces the need for mineral fertilizers.
- Its application promotes vigorous root development and contributes to increased crop yields.
- It enables rapid and efficient decomposition of crop residues, accelerates the breakdown of cellulose and hemicellulose, reduces establishment risks for subsequent crops, and promotes the rapid mineralization of crop stubble.
- Safe for bees.
- The mycorrhizal fungi contained in the formulation develop an extensive network of fine fungal hyphae in the soil, effectively expanding the functional root system of the plant, thereby improving water and nutrient uptake and increasing nutrient use efficiency.
- Recommended application: In field crops, apply before sowing by incorporating into the seedbed, or incorporate into the soil for the treatment of crop residues and stubble at a rate of 10 L/ha in 300 L/ha of water.
What does the product contain?
- Natural bacterial and yeast cultures*, their fermentation metabolites and starter culture medium in aqueous solution – 2% w/w microbial components Σ:1,0 x 107 cfu/ml, pH: 6,7 ± 0,5), 1 % w/w yeast extract.
Azotobacter spp. – Naturally occurring nitrogen-fixing bacteria capable of converting atmospheric nitrogen into plant-available forms, providing the equivalent of up to 50 kg N/ha, reducing the requirement for mineral nitrogen fertilizers, and stimulating root development.
Bacillus spp. – Naturally occurring phosphorus- and potassium-mobilizing bacteria that solubilize bound phosphorus and mobilize soil potassium reserves, facilitating the release of nutrients equivalent to up to 20 kg P/ha and 10 kg K/ha.
Saccharomyces spp. – Soil-beneficial yeasts producing vitamins and plant growth-promoting metabolites, supporting the proliferation of beneficial soil microorganisms, enhancing soil biological activity, and accelerating the decomposition of organic matter.
Glomus spp. – Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi forming a symbiotic association with plant roots, extending the effective root system through an extensive hyphal network, thereby improving water and nutrient uptake and increasing nutrient use efficiency.
Is special equipment required for the application of the product?
- No special equipment is required for the use of the product. It is applied to the soil surface by aerosol formation using a mechanical or manual sprayer, depending on its integration into the cultivation technology.
Is the product available in liquid or solid form?
